What is Kora Daily?

Kora Daily is a site of daily football puzzles. Every day there are more than 12 new games: name a player from his career, fill a grid of players, name a Top 10 list, guess a club badge, name the line-up of a famous match, and more. Everyone plays the same puzzles on the same day, and your points go on a daily and an all-time leaderboard.

Why we made it

Most daily football games online are about the Premier League and European football, in English. Kora Daily is made for people who follow Egyptian, Arab and African football too: Al Ahly and Zamalek, Al Hilal and Al Nassr, Egypt and the Africa Cup of Nations, and our stars abroad like Salah, Marmoush, Mahrez and Hakimi. Names can be typed in Arabic, English or Franco-Arabic, and the game understands them.

Who makes it?

Kora Daily is a personal project, made and run by Ibrahim Issa. He picks the games, checks the data and answers the messages. The site isn't linked to any club, federation or TV channel.

How are the puzzles made?

Every puzzle is built on data with a source: player and match pages on Wikipedia, transfer histories and numbers on Transfermarkt, and national-team scorer lists on RSSSF. Every number or career on the site links to its source, and when sources disagree we check and choose by written rules. The details are on How we check.

How do we improve it?

Under every game there's a "Found a mistake or have an idea?" box. We read every message, and when someone finds a mistake we fix it and note the fix. We also watch for puzzles that turned out too easy or too hard to tune the difficulty. Every important change is listed in Updates.

Free or paid?

Career Path, The Grid and Top 10 are open to everyone without an account. A free account adds Higher or Lower and Guess the Badge and puts you on the leaderboard. Plus, a one-time payment, opens the other games with no ads. Ads and Plus are what pay for the site.
